Exam Pattern

Salary Details
Candidates selected through AFCAT 02/2026 are commissioned as Flying Officers in the Indian Air Force. The starting basic pay is ₹56,100 per month (Pay Level-10) under the 7th Pay Commission. During training, Flight Cadets also receive a fixed stipend of ₹56,100 per month. In addition to the basic pay, officers are entitled to Military Service Pay (MSP), Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), Flying/Technical Allowance (where applicable), medical facilities, leave benefits, and other allowances as per Indian Air Force rules.
